Katica Locke was born and raised in western Oregon where she continues to live with her confidant and soulmate, Edward, in a little house on a hill. She likes being close to nature and can spend hours wandering in the woods, following deer trails, watching birds and squirrels, and looking at footprints in the muddy stream banks. When the light is just right and the wind blows from the west, a family of blue and silver dragons sun themselves high in the rocky crags above the valley and on misty mornings, unicorns nibble the buds off her geraniums. When not lost in a world of her own creation, she enjoys camping, hiking, reading and visiting the coast.
