Synopsis:
A confirmed sceptic, Professor Jack Stevens works as a lecturer in parapsychology at a college in his home state of Minnesota. In his spare time, Jack travels around helping people to find rational explanations for the things that go bump in the night.

Called to the home of Edith Andrews in Wisconsin, Jack meets psychic, Casey Lambeth. Convinced that Casey is out to rip the woman off, Jack resolves to prove that the “ghost” in Edith’s house can be explained by rational means.

As their investigation proceeds, Jack finds that there are events going on that he can’t explain. Add to that, his growing attraction to Casey, and the sparks really begin to fly. Can Jack overcome his scepticism enough to save himself, Casey and Edith Andrews from the machinations of a vengeful spirit, and reconcile himself to the idea of loving a starry-eyed medium?
